B.Sc., M.H.Sc., Au.D., Reg. CASLPO. Graduated from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors of Science with Distinction in Psychology and French Linguistics in 2008. Won a “Hétu Undergraduate Student Prize in Acoustics” from The Canadian Acoustical Association. Graduated from University of Ottawa with a Masters of Health Sciences in Audiology in 2010. Graduated from Salus University with a Doctorate in Audiology in 2015. Began working as an Audiologist at all 3 locations in August 2010.

Brigitte Giroux

Brigitte Giroux
Hearing Instrument Specialist

H.I.S. Hearing Instrument Specialist Registered with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario (AHIP). Graduated with Honors & received the “Dean's Medal” from George Brown College in 2007. Experience working closely with the Audiology Department at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and the Audiology Department at the Ottawa General Hospital. Experience in Hearing Aid Dispensing including the Ministry of Health's Infant Hearing Program.

Janet Witherspoon
Audiologist

B.Sc. (CD), M.CI.Sc., Reg. CASLPO. Over 20 years experience at Scarborough Centenary Hospital (Rouge Valley), and over 25 years experience at Advanced Hearing Ontario. Trained in Diagnostics for the Ministry of Health's Infant Hearing Program.

Sarah Smith

Sarah Smith
Doctor of Audiology, Audiologist

B.A.S., Au.D., CH-TM, Reg. CASLPO. Graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree in 2010 and from Durham College with a Communicative Disorders Assistant post-graduate certificate in 2011.

Completed a year-long clinical externship at Cleveland Clinic in 2016. Experience with both children and adult diagnostics and intervention. Board Certificate Holder in Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) through the American Board of Audiology.

Deanna Miluzzi

Deanna Miluzzi
Audiologist

HBSc., M.(Aud).ST., Reg. CASLPO. Graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Psychology and Linguistics in 2014 and graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Audiology Studies in 2016. 

Published an article in the International Journal of Audiology in April 2018 titled "No evidence for enhanced processing of speech that is low-pass filtered near the edge frequency of cochlear dead regions in children".

Sierra O'Connell

Sierra O'Connell
Audiologist

BSc., MClSc., Reg. CASLPO. Graduated with an Honours Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and Biology in 2016. Worked as an Audiology Assistant before returning to University of Western Ontario in order to obtain Master of Clinical Science in Audiology. Completed clinical internship at Alberta Children's Hospital in 2018 and graduated in 2019. Experience with both child and adult diagnostics and intervention. 25+ years of personal experience living with hearing loss and eager to help others do the same.
