Advanced Hearing Ontario are the only clinics in Durham that meet all the requirements of eligibility to become a member of the Ontario Association of Professional Audiology Clinics (OAPAC).
All member clinics must be independently owned and not owned by large retail chain stores or hearing aid manufacturers. No quotas. No franchise rules. Instead, the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), whose mandate is the protect the public, regulates the Audiologist-owner(s).
OAPAC submits some of the latest research on medical conditions and hearing loss to the Ontario medical Review. The Journal is disseminated to over 26,000 physicians in Ontario.
